The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
