To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, "We are a united group, and we are bound to prevail?" 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
