The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
