The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8
