۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 They are always harassing us. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
