And verily it is a revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 Which the trusted spirit descended with 193 To (communicate) to your heart that you may be a warner 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 This is (indicated) in the Books of earlier people. 196 Was it not a sign for them known to the learned of the Children of Israel? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 In order that he read it to them, even then they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused this (Admonition) to penetrate the hearts of the culprits (like a hot rod). 200 They will not believe therein until they behold the torment afflictive. 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are not aware, 202 Then will they say: "Can we be given respite?" 203 Do they want to hasten Our torment? 204 What do you see? If We gave them enjoyment for years, 205 And then cometh that which they were promised, 206 What shall that which they enjoyed avail them? 207 And never did We destroy a township, but it had its warners 208 By way of admonition, and We have never been oppressors. 209 And it is not the Shayatin (devils) who have brought it (this Quran) down, 210 It behoveth them not, nor they can. 211 Indeed they are debarred from even hearing it. 212 Therefor invoke not with Allah another god, lest thou be one of the doomed. 213 And warn [whomever thou canst reach, beginning with] thy kinsfolk, 214 And take those believers under your wing who follow you. 215 then, if they disobey thee, say, 'I am quit of that you do.' 216 And rely thou upon the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 Who observes you when you rise (to pray) 218 And (seeth) thine abasement among those who fall prostrate (in worship). 219 For it is He Who heareth and knoweth all things. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the satans descend? 221 They descend on every lying (one who tells lies), sinful person. 222 (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars. 223 And the astray follow the poets. 224 Do you not see how they wander aimlessly in every valley, 225 And that they say that which they do not do, 226 Save those who believe and do good works, and remember Allah much, and vindicate themselves after they have been wronged. Those who do wrong will come to know by what a (great) reverse they will be overturned! 227
Almighty Allah's Truth.
