Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
