Therefor warn (men, O Muhammad). By the grace of Allah thou art neither soothsayer nor madman. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 Tell them: "Keep on expecting, I am expecting with you." 31 Enjoin them their understandings to this? or are they a people conumacious? 32 Or do they say, "He fabricated the (Message)"? Nay, they have no faith! 33 So let them bring a discourse like it, if they are truthful 34 Or, were they created out of nothing? Or, were they their own creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they are sure of nothing! 36 Do they own the treasures of your Lord, or have they been given charge of them? 37 Or do they have a ladder (climbing which) they can hear (the secrets of heaven)? Let one who has heard then bring a clear proof. 38 Or has He daughters while you have sons? 39 Or do you demand any wages from them so that they are burdened with expense? 40 Or that the Ghaib (unseen) is with them, and they write it down? 41 Do they want to hatch some plot? Those who deny the truth will be the victims of the plot. 42 Is theirs a god beside Allah? Hallowed be Allah from that which they associate! 43 And if they were to see a piece of the heaven falling down, they would say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 so leave them alone till they face the Day on which they will be struck dumb, 45 A Day whereon their plotting will avail them not at all, nor will they be succoured. 46 For the harmdoers there is indeed, a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 And be patient upon your Lord’s command, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), for you are indeed in Our sight; and proclaim the Purity of your Lord while praising Him, whenever you stand. 48 And in the night-time also hymn His praise, and at the setting of the stars. 49
