Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Alif-Lam-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 The revelation of this Book free of doubt and involution is from the Lord of all the worlds. 2 Or say they: "He (Muhammad SAW) has fabricated it?" Nay, it is the truth from your Lord, that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you (O Muhammad SAW), in order that they may be guided. 3 God is the one who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days, then He established His dominion over the Throne. No one besides Him is your guardian or intercessor. Will you then not take heed? 4 He rules (all) affairs from the heavens to the earth: in the end will (all affairs) go up to Him, on a Day, the space whereof will be (as) a thousand years of your reckoning. 5 That is the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 6 Who made everything He has created good, and He began the creation of man from clay. 7 then He fashioned his progeny of an extraction of mean water, 8 Then He made him complete and breathed into him of His spirit, and made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 9 And they said, “When we have mingled into the earth, will we be created again?”; in fact they disbelieve in the meeting with their Lord. 10 ۞ Say, "The Angel of Death who has been given charge of you will gather in your souls. Then you will [all] be returned to your Lord." 11
