He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ (The Prophet) frowned and turned away, 1 Because a blind man came to him. 2 And what could let you know? Perhaps he (comes to hear you) to be purified. 3 Or that he may accept advice, so the advice may benefit him. 4 Now as for him who believes himself to be self-sufficient 5 To him you attend; 6 though you are not to be blamed if he would not purify himself -- 7 And for him who came to you striving, 8 And with fear (in his heart), 9 of him you were unmindful. 10 Assuredly this is a reminder 11 Therefore let whoso will, keep it in remembrance. 12 in [the light of His] revelations blest with dignity, 13 Exalted, purified, 14 [Carried] by the hands of messenger-angels, 15 Noble and righteous. 16 Perish the human! How unthankful he is! 17 From what stuff hath He created him? 18 From a sperm-drop He created him and destined for him; 19 Then maketh the way easy for him, 20 Then gave him death, so had him put in the grave. 21 Then, when He willed, He brought him out. (As during the night of Holy Prophet’s ascension, when all the Prophets gathered behind him in the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. Or when Allah will raise everyone on the Day of Resurrection.) 22 Nay; but he has not done what He bade him. 23 Then let man look at his food, 24 how We pour down rain in abundance, 25 and then We cleaved the earth asunder. 26 And cause the grain to grow therein 27 grapes, and fresh fodder, 28 Olives and dates, 29 And enclosed gardens luxuriant. 30 and fruits and pastures 31 A provision for you and for your cattle. 32 And when the Blast shall sound, 33 on a Day when everyone will [want to] flee from his brother, 34 And from his mother and his father, 35 his wife and his sons: 36 Every man that day will have concern enough to make him heedless (of others). 37 Some faces on that Day shall be beaming with happiness, 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 but others will be gloomy 40 with darkness overspread: 41 They will be the unbelievers, transgressors. 42
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
