We settled the children of Israel in a blessed land and provided them with pure sustenance. They did not create differences among themselves until after the knowledge had come to them. God will judge their differences on the Day of Judgment. 93 So if you are in doubt, [O Muhammad], about that which We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Scripture before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters. 94 And never be of those who deny the signs of Allah and [thus] be among the losers. 95 Surely those against whom the word of your Lord has proved true will not believe, 96 Even though all the signs came to them, not till they face the grievous punishment. 97 Then has there not been a [single] city that believed so its faith benefited it except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time. 98 And if your Lord had pleased, surely all those who are in the earth would have believed, all of them; will you then force men till they become believers? 99 And it is not for a soul to believe except by Allah's permission; and He casts uncleanness on those who will not understand. 100 Say: Behold what is in the heavens and the earth! But revelations and warnings avail not folk who will not believe. 101 What expect they save the like of the days of those who passed away before them? Say: Expect then! I am with you among the expectant. 102 Thus do We deliver our apostles and those who believe. As a matter of duty We save the believers. 103
