Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 but those whose scales are light shall forfeit their souls and live in Gehenna (Hell) for ever. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 [And God will say:] "Were not My messages conveyed unto you, and were you [not] wont to give them the lie?" 105 They will answer, "Lord, misfortune overcame us and we became an erring people. 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 God is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. He is the only God and the Lord of the Gracious Throne. 116 And the one who worships any other God along with Allah – of which he does not have any proof – his account is with his Lord; indeed there is no salvation for the disbelievers. 117 And say (O Muhammad SAW): "My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
