The people of Lot accused the messengers of lies. 160 When their brother Lut said unto them: fear ye not? 161 I am a trustworthy messenger to you: 162 Have fear of God and obey me. 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 "Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males, 165 Leaving the consorts your Lord has made for you? But you are a people who exceed the bounds." 166 They said: "If thou desist not, O Lut! thou wilt assuredly be cast out!" 167 He said: 'Truly, I am a detester of what you do' 168 “My Lord, rescue me and my family from their deeds.” 169 So We saved him and his family, all, 170 Except an old woman among those who remained behind. 171 Thereafter, We utterly destroyed the rest, 172 and We sent upon them a rain, an evil rain that fell on those who had been warned. 173 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 174 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 175
