Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a warner and there is no Ilah (God) except Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) the One, the Irresistible, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 and you will most certainly grasp its purport after a lapse of time!" 88
