The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
