T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha.* (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals know their precise meanings.) 1 We have not sent down the Koran to you for you to be tired, 2 But only as an admonition to those who fear (Allah),- 3 It is a revelation from the Creator of the earth and the high heavens. 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the soil. 6 And if you utter the saying aloud, then surely He knows the secret, and what is yet more hidden. 7 Allah! no God there is but he! His are the names excellent. 8 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 9 Behold, he saw a fire: So he said to his family, "Tarry ye; I perceive a fire; perhaps I can bring you some burning brand therefrom, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 When he approached it, a voice called out: 11 I am thy Lord; put off thy shoes; thou art in the holy valley, Towa. 12 "I have chosen thee: listen, then, to the inspiration (sent to thee). 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 "Behold, [although] I have willed to keep it hidden, the Last Hour is bound to come, so that every human being may be recompensed in accordance with what he strove for [in life]. 15 “Therefore never let one, who does not accept faith in it and follows his own desires, prevent you from accepting this, so then you become ruined.” 16 "And what is that in the right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses." 18 He said: 'Moses, cast it down' 19 Moses threw it on the ground and suddenly he saw that it was a moving serpent. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 Now clasp thy hand to thy arm-pit; it shall come forth white, without evil. That is a second sign. 22 That We may show you of Our greater signs: 23 Go to Pharaoh, he has become insolent' 24
