He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because the blind man came unto him. 2 What could inform thee but that he might grow (in grace) 3 or yet remember, and the Reminder profit him. 4 As for he who thinks himself without need, 5 to him didst thou give thy whole attention, 6 though it is not thy concern, if he does not cleanse himself. 7 but as for him who came unto thee full of eagerness 8 And whereas he fears, 9 You neglect. 10 No indeed, this is a Reminder; 11 So whoso wills may give heed to it. 12 On honourable pages. 13 exalted, purified, 14 By the hands of scribes. 15 Noble and righteous. 16 Perish the human! How unthankful he is! 17 Of what did He create him? 18 He created him from a living germ. He determined his fate 19 Then made his passage easy (at birth); 20 Then causeth him to die, and burieth him; 21 then, He will raise him when He wills. 22 Not one – he has not yet completed what he was commanded. 23 Let the human being think about (how We produce) his food. 24 It is We Who pour forth water, pouring, 25 Thereafter We cleave the earth in clefts, 26 Then We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 grapes, and fresh fodder, 28 and olives and palms, 29 and burgeoning enclosed gardens 30 And fruits and herbage 31 Provision for you and your cattle. 32 So when the deafening Shout arrives, 33 The day on which a man shall fly from his brother, 34 mother, father, 35 his wife and his sons: 36 For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him. 37 Some faces on that day shall shine 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 And other faces, on that day, with dust upon them, 40 Darkness shall cover them. 41 those will be ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity. 42
God the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
