And rehearse to them (something of) Abraham's story. 69 when he asked his father and his people, "What is that which you worship?" 70 They answered: "There are some idols that we worship and are devoted to them with constancy." 71 He said, 'Do they hear you when you call, 72 "Or do you good or harm?" 73 They said: Nay, but we found our fathers acting on this wise. 74 (Abraham) said, "Do you know that what you worship 75 Ye and your fathers of old? 76 They are all enemies to me; all, except the Lord of the Universe 77 Who hath created me, and He guideth me. 78 He Who feedeth me and giveth me to drink. 79 "And when I am ill, it is He who cures me. 80 And He Who shall cause me to die, and then shall quicken me. 81 And Who, I ardently hope, will forgive me my sin on the Day of Judgment. 82 “My Lord, bestow me the command and join me with those who deserve your proximity.” 83 And grant me an honourable mention in later generations; 84 And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure. 85 and forgive my father for he is among those who strayed, 86 Do not degrade me on the Day when they are resurrected. 87 "The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, 88 except him who comes before Allah with a pure heart; 89 And Paradise will be brought near to the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 90 And the (Hell) Fire will be placed in full view of the erring. 91 And it will be said unto them: Where is (all) that ye used to worship 92 Other than Allah? Can they help you or help themselves?" 93 The idol worshippers, the idols, the rebellious ones, 94 And the whole hosts of Iblis (Satan) together. 95 They will say while they dispute therein, 96 "By God, we were plainly in error 97 In equating you with the Lord of all the worlds; 98 It was naught but the sinners that led us astray; 99 We have no intercessors now, 100 “Nor a caring friend.” 101 Would that we could have a chance to live again so that we might become believers." 102 In this there is evidence (of the truth), but many of them do not have any faith. 103 surely, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 104

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
