Say: 'I am only a warner. What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
