(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 And you are lost in play! 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
