So, I call to witness what you see 38 as well as all that you cannot see! 39 That this is indeed the word of the noble Messenger, 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 Had he invented sayings against Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
