The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
