Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 His wealth avails him not, neither what he has earned; 2 he shall roast at a flaming fire 3 And his wife also: the firewood carrier; 4 Will have a strap of fibre rope around her neck. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
