Nay, and by the moon, 32 by the retreating night, 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 except the people of the right hand 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 about the sinners. 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
