Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 noble scribes 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 to burn therein. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
