The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
