۞ O mankind! it is you who stand in need of Allah, but Allah is Rich (Free of all wants and needs), Worthy of all praise. 15 If He will, He could destroy you and bring about a new creation. 16 This is well within the power of God. 17 And no burdened soul will carry another soul’s burden; and if a burdened soul calls another to share the burden, no one will carry any part of it, even if he is a close relative; O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), your warning only benefits those who fear their Lord without seeing and who keep the prayer established; and whoever cleansed himself, has cleansed for his own benefit; and towards Allah only is the return. 18 The blind and the sighted are not equal, 19 nor are the depths of darkness and the light; 20 Nor the shade and the heat, 21 nor are the living and the dead. God causes whom He will to hear Him, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear you. 22 You (Prophet Muhammad) are but a warner. 23 Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner. 24 If they belie you, those before them also belied. Their Messengers came to them with clear signs; the Psalms, and the Illuminating Book. 25 Then I seized the disbelievers; so how did denial My rejection turn out? 26
