No affliction comes about but by Allah's permission; and whoever believes in Allah, He guides aright his heart; and Allah is Cognizant of all things. 11 And obey Allah and obey His Noble Messenger; then if you turn away, know that the duty upon Our Noble Messenger is only to plainly convey. 12 Allah there is no god but He; in Allah should the believers put all their trust. 13 Believers, some of your wives and children are enemies; so beware of them. But if you pardon, overlook and forgive them, then Allah is the Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 14 Your wealth and children are but a trial, and with Allah is a mighty wage. 15 so be mindful of God as best as you can; and listen, and obey; and spend in charity: it is for your own good. Those who guard themselves against their own greed will surely prosper: 16 If you lend a goodly loan to God, He will double it for you, and forgive you. God knows the worth of good deeds and is clement, 17 Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, the Mighty, the Wise. 18
