The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
