The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
