۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
