[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
