We settled the children of Israel in a blessed land and provided them with pure sustenance. They did not create differences among themselves until after the knowledge had come to them. God will judge their differences on the Day of Judgment. 93 If you are in any doubt concerning what We have sent down to you, then question those who have read the Book before you: the Truth has come to you from your Lord, so do not be one of the doubters -- 94 And never be of those who denied the signs of Allah, for you will then be of the losers. 95 Verily those on whom the word of thy Lord hath been justified shall not believe. 96 Though every token come unto them, till they see the painful doom. 97 Why has there been no habitation that believed and profited by their faith, except the people of Jonah? When they came to believe, We removed from them the affliction of shame in the world, and made them prosperous for a time. 98 Had your Lord so willed, all those who are on the earth would have believed. Will you, then, force people into believing? 99 No soul can believe, except by the will of Allah, and He will place doubt (or obscurity) on those who will not understand. 100 Say: Behold what is in the heavens and the earth! But revelations and warnings avail not folk who will not believe. 101 What can they expect other than the kind of (punishment that befell the disbelieving people) who had gone before them? (Muhammad), tell them, "Wait and I too will be waiting with you." 102 Then shall We save Our messengers and the believers, in like manner (as of old). It is incumbent upon Us to save believers. 103
