Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Tell My worshipers that I am the Forgiving, the Most Merciful, 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 Tell them about Abraham's guests: 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 Messengers, what is your task?" 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all, 59 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind. 60
