Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 As it is, some assert, "The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 When it is not meet for (the Majesty of) the Beneficent that He should choose a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
