Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 separating one from another, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 for an appointed time? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
