Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 then he who transgressed 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
