The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the glorious morning light; 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
