Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 We send fertilizing winds, and then cause rain to descend from the sky, providing you abundant water to drink even though you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
