Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 As if they were startled donkeys – 50 running away from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
