Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree? 2 The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. 3 The angels and Jibreel descend in it by the permission of their Lord for every affair, 4 Peace it is, till the break of dawn. 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
