Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
