Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7
We shall make satan the companion of whoever ignores the remembrance of the Beneficent God. 36 Satan will prevent them from the right path while they think that they have the right guidance. 37 At length, when (such a one) comes to Us, he says (to his evil companion): "Would that between me and thee were the distance of East and West!" Ah! evil is the companion (indeed)! 38 It will be said [to such a person], "You have done wrong. Having partners in punishment will be of no avail to you today." 39 Then will you make the deaf hear, [O Muhammad], or guide the blind or he who is in clear error? 40 So if We take you away, We shall then indeed take revenge from them. 41 Or if We shew thee that wherewith We threaten them, verily We are going to prevail over them. 42 So hold thou fast to that which is inspired in thee. Lo! thou art on a right path. 43 The Quran is a reminder to you and to your people and you will soon be questioned about it. 44 And ask those We sent before you of Our messengers; have We made besides the Most Merciful deities to be worshipped? 45
