Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Winds) that scatter broadcast; 1 by the clouds which are heavily loaded with water, 2 Then those (ships) that glide easily, 3 And those who distribute (it) by command, 4 Verily the promise made to you is true: 5 the Judgement will surely come to pass -- 6 By the heaven containing pathways, 7 Indeed, you are in differing speech. 8 Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). 9 Perish will those who just guess and speculate, 10 Those who have forgotten in a state of intoxication. 11 They ask, "When it will be the Day of Judgment?" 12 It will be on the day when they will be roasted in the fire. 13 'Taste your trial! This is that you were seeking to hasten.' 14 Indeed the pious are among Gardens and water springs. 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 They used to sleep only a little during the night. 17 And in the morning they asked forgiveness. 18 and in their wealth there was a rightful share for him who would ask and for the destitute. 19 In the earth are signs for those having sure faith; 20 there are signs for firm believers. Do you not see then? 21 And in heaven is your provision, and that you are promised. 22 So, by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, this is certainly true, as true as the fact of your speaking. 23
