Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 pursuing a straight way 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
