It is He who has made the earth subservient to you, so traverse its regions and eat its provisions. To Him you shall all be resurrected. 15 Can you ever feel secure that He who is in heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you up when, lo and behold, it begins to quake? 16 Do you feel secure that the One in the heavens will not strike you with a sandstorm? You will soon know, with the coming of the torment, how serious Our warning was. 17 And assuredly those before them belied; then what wise hath been My wrath! 18 Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them? None, except the Merciful holds them. Surely, He sees all things. 19 Or who is it that will be a host for you to assist you besides the Beneficent Allah? The unbelievers are only in deception. 20 Or who is there that can provide you with Sustenance if He were to withhold His provision? Nay, they obstinately persist in insolent impiety and flight (from the Truth). 21 Who is better guided: he who walks grovelling on his face, or he who walks upright on a Straight Path? 22 Say, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful." 23 Say, “It is He Who has spread you out in the earth, and towards Him you will be raised.” 24 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?" 25 Say, "God alone has knowledge of that; and I am only a plain warner." 26 But when they see it nigh, the faces of those who disbelieve will be awry, and it will be said (unto them): This is that for which ye used to call. 27 Say: Have you considered if Allah should destroy me and those with me-- rather He will have mercy on us; yet who will protect the unbelievers from a painful punishment? 28 Say: "He is (Allah) Most Gracious: We have believed in Him, and on Him have we put our trust: So, soon will ye know which (of us) it is that is in manifest error." 29 Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?" 30
