But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And what you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he had forged concerning us some discourses. 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran).
