۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
