Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
