We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
